Friends of Hayward Public Montessori is leading an Annual Giving Drive to raise funds for Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori School. Like other public schools, Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori relies on donations from families like you to support positions and programs not fully funded by the State. 

Our goal is to raise $87,500 by December 6th to support the advancement for a permanent campus. Last year with the support of the community, we were able to raise $38,194.00. While this year’s goal is more than we raised last year, only a small percentage of the community participated in our Annual Giving Drive. As a school that was grassroots founded, we know the power of community.

Since the merge of Golden Oak and Silver Oak, one goal has been for both schools to have one home. In collaboration with Hayward Area Recreation Department (H.A.R.D.), the lower elementary campus currently has five remaining years at the Laurel campus. While mental health remains a top priority, we are committed to supporting the strategic advancement for a permanent campus.

This year, our drive focuses on the why. Why did your family choose Hayward Twin Oaks? Each week of the Annual Giving Drive we will share stories of why families, staff, and students have chosen and continue to choose HTOMS. We encourage you to remember your why. If you feel moved to share your story we would love to hear it.

No donation amount is too small. Anything your family can donate is a meaningful donation. While we have a bottom line goal, our even larger goal is to increase the giving pool. Thank you for your consideration.
