Downtown Hayward Street Fair

This summer we participated in three fun events hosted by the Hayward Chamber of Commerce. The Downtown Hayward Street Fair was a family friendly event with delicious food (did anyone else try the concha ice cream sandwich?), fun games like a climbing wall and bounce house, and a helicopter! Thanks to our Amazon Web Services grant we were able to provide free mindfulness activities for families. We offered rock painting and journal decorating for kids to take home. We met so many families who were interested in learning more about Montessori and the mission of Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori School. We saw lots of familiar faces as well. Whether you were a new family stopping by or already part of our community, thank you for stopping by! We are already planning for next year’s Street Fair, as well as other fun events to attend in the community.
